How can I size the PDF pages in order to fill all the screen (1024x768)?
My idea is to have the pdf pages filling all screen (even not remaining with the ideal aspect ratio), and the thumbs and top toolbar transparent above the pdf pages. Is it possible?

Resizing the aview in loadview, doesn't work :-(

You could use the new methods on MFDocumentViewController using (float)padding and (BOOL)showShadow methods; to remove padding and shadow.

Trying to stretch the page is not a good idea.
