Hi Guys,
The PDF when zoomed is not clear on certain zoom levels, mostly in the middle and even though I wait for a long time it is still blurred.

    Hi Team,

    We have a problem when viewing the PDF using the zoom fucntionality. When we zoom the view is reloaded to increase the clarity for reading, but at certain middle points of the zoom level the view remains blurred even though we wait for ample amount of time. Although the zoom clarity remains constant at the initial and end zoom level.

    Could you please let us know if this issue contains a patch or an alternative method for us to resolve.

    in order to help you solve the issue we need to know:
    - Which FastPdfKit version you are using. - On which device your are experiencing the issue. - A pdf document that presents the problem.

    Please ensure that you are using the latest FastPdfKit version pulled from GitHub.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Matteo,

    Apart from the above issue, we are also facing this critical bug and would require your assistance as the app is live.

    The PDF while opening on iPhone XS Max with OS 13.3.1 open the first page but when we swipe the app crashes. I have attached the video evidence from our customer, we are unable to get more logs for the above but we have used the following configuration

    MFDocumentManager *documentManager = [[MFDocumentManager alloc] initWithFileUrl:documentURL count:2];

    pdfViewController.automodeOnRotation = YES;
    pdfViewController.pageSliderEnabled = NO;
    pdfViewController.thumbnailSliderEnabled = YES;
    pdfViewController.overlayEnabled = NO;
    pdfViewController.settings.cacheImageScale = FPKImageCacheScaleAnamorphic;

    Hello, you might want to set reader.settings.highResolutionBackgroundEnabled = true and change settings.cacheImageScale = FPKImageCacheScaleTrueToPixel.

    Hi Matteo,

    If we use your configuration it works for version iPhone X and below models but for iPhone XS Max it crashes with the error “Out of Memory” or Signal 9 (XPC connection interrupted)

    Hello Dilip,
    unfortunately the combination of PDF complexity, zoom level and screen size/resolution are causing the issue.

    The most effective option you have at your disposal is to reduce the PDF complexity, mainly compressing the included images. You can try to use Apple's stock app Preview, or, even better, the software you used to create the PDF in the first place.
    The trick is to adjust the export settings.

    Kind regards,
